It is recommended that you take at least one driving lesson before your driving test to get a good feel for the car.

Previously at another driving school or with a teaching permit
Have you started at another driving school or studied with a teaching permit and found that you need more driving instruction before your driving test? At Eco Driving School, you can take driving lessons at a low cost under the guidance of experienced driving instructors. It is also possible to change driving schools altogether. In this case, we need certificates of your previous studies so that you do not have to retake the training you have previously completed. When you need to take your driving test, we will rent you a car for the driving test.
Driving practice before the driving test
If you are changing your driving license to a Finnish one, it is recommended to take a few driving lessons. The traffic culture in Finland can be different and the requirements for the driving test are often stricter, so practicing is definitely beneficial.
If you have already taken the driving test before, but have not yet passed it, it is possible to take the re-test with less practice. However, it is a good idea to take at least one driving lesson before the re-test. If you want to be sure that you will pass the driving test, it is worth taking at least 3 - 6 driving lessons, which will make it easier to take the new test.
Driving lessons allow you to get to know the car that will be used in the driving test, practice observation and anticipation in traffic. In addition, driving lessons allow you to get to know the driving test area, which makes it easier to focus on driving during the driving test, as the places are not completely unfamiliar.
Registration and booking a driving test
When you register for the course via the link below, we will contact you and reserve a suitable time for your driving test, as well as check how you want to complete any driving lessons before the driving test.
If you already have a driving test booked, please inform the driving school of your booked driving test time in the 'additional information' section of the form. We will check whether we can arrange a car for the driving test. If you have completed driving lessons and RTK (risk recognition training) at another driving school or with a teaching permit, you must have Traficom certificates E100 (Certificate of driver instruction received) and E113 (Risk recognition training) with you for the driving test.
The program normally always starts at the driving school, at Meriusva 1. The duration of the driving lesson is 50 minutes. During the driving test, you act as a responsible driver and the driving school may charge a deductible if necessary. Although the driving school's cars are fully insured, the insurance company may not cover all damages. See terms and conditions
